Name: Hohenheim Schloss
Alias: (Any nicknames your character has and goes by)
Appearance: Hohenheim is a tall man with tan skin and black hair. He has makeup or tattoos on his eyelids and cheeks, both tattoos are made up of the Om, or Aum, written in Sanskrit letters, or the ‘sarcred’ Hindu sound om, known as “The mother of all mantras, which represents the four stages of consciousness: Awake, sleeping, dreaming and transcendental. Hohenhiem’s hair is often done in a messy fashion reaching down past his shoulders. His hair falls into his face, a fringe between his eyes, though no hair falls in front of them. Hohenheim has emerald colored eyes with a blue ring around pupil and outlining his eye. Despite Hohenheim being a spell caster and relying more on magic/sorcery for combat, he actually is quite fit, he’s roughly six feet tall, weighing in at a hundred and fifty pounds, and is actually well muscled despite appearing to have little to none.
Rank/Occupation: Member of the Brotherhood
Affinities: Fire & Wind
Weapons: Grosse Masser Sword
Personality: Hohenheim talks in a refined manner, generally a calm, elegant, stoic and authoritative individual. However, he becomes a completely different person depending on who he’s with or what he’s doing as he’ll often come off somewhat rude to his people who brag or flaunt about their strength.
He’s also an outgoing person; he can best be described as a Ladies man at times. He often uses vulgar or flippant language in conversation. Hohenheim has an energetic and friendly side and as such befriends people easily; however, with some females that he’s close to, he seems to be at odds with them due to his blatant sexual harassment against them, however it’s usually never anything serious. He has been known to sexual harass men as well, though he seems to do both of these things out of boredom.
He has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and is an incurably sarcastic cynic, only too happy to bluntly and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding god, reality, or their own self-importance. He’s also reckless and disobedient, breaking orders if it suits his needs or if he finds them lacking causing him to often be at odds with the Brotherhood at times.
Hohenheim has a strong sense of moral justice, this trait stemming from Catherine Testarossa, who pushed him onto the right path. His sense of justice seems to come from all the wrong that he’s done that he’s now trying to fix by willing surrendering his life to becoming a huntsman so that he can protect people rather than hurt them.
Hohenheim has both a serious and playful side to himself, though there is certainly more to him than he lets on as he can also be a cold and calculating individual. It can be deduced that he is mellow most of the time, seeming calm and in control of himself most of the time. He’s a patient person and has a keen intellect that he often seems to hide, only revealing it during fights or things he deems important. Though none of this is to say he is humorless, as he’s willing to laugh and make jokes, willing to be playful with people if they’re in the mood for it. Hohenheim can be a cold, ruthless, cunning person when angered, though some of these traits seem to seep through when he’s fighting.
He seems to have a sense of responsibility for his friends being rather protective of them, willing to go to great lengths to keep them save by putting himself in harm’s way or breaking the rules if it means it will protect them. It’s a part of him that he used to dislike but has come to accept finding that it makes him a better person and makes him who he is.
Hohenheim also enjoys building and inventing new things. As such in his free time he's often covered in grease and oil from working on different machines and inventions. He seems to have a fixation on trying to improve things that have already been made though he has made several odd things for himself here and there.
Hohenheim, being that he’s a spellweaver, seems to believe in a lot of different aspects of myths, legends and religion. Though just because he believes in some of them doesn’t mean he believes in all of it, evidence of this is that he doesn’t believe in God or the gods, he believes in portions but not the whole thing.
Brief Bio: Hohenheim’s biological parents were killed while he was of a young age by a man by the name of, Noah Zachaire, he’s also the one that ended up raising Hohenheim to be the spellweaver he is today, as well as becoming part of a reminiscently bitter past, the realization of the cause of his own father and mother's deaths more than enough to push the young boy to the edge. He had grown to respect this teacher; this mentor of his who taught him how to fight in the first place, exposing him to the world of vigorous training. Years after Hohenheim was taken in, Noah was killed leaving him alone once more. For years after Noah Zachaire’s death, Hohenheim used his skills for murder, killing people for money or taking part in different conflicts as a mercenary, he teamed up with many of Night based creatures during this time. This eventually changed when he met a woman by the name of, Catherine Testarossa, she managed to get Hohenheim to open up and taught him that there was more than life than just senseless violence, telling him to live life how he wants and not how people tell him to which is probably the source of his carefree personality as well as he’s constant breaking of orders. Catherine is also the reason Hohenheim entered the Brotherhood as she was a member, however not long after he became one Catherine was killed in action prompting him to join, despite him being reluctant.
